Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Nature Guardians platform ("the Service"), operated by Australian Geographic Holdings Pty Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these terms.
Educational Use
Nature Guardians is designed for educational purposes in Australian schools. Teachers using the Service agree to:
- Use the platform and content solely for legitimate educational purposes
- Supervise student participation in quizzes and activities
- Not collect or share student personal information through the platform
- Comply with their school's policies regarding digital learning tools
Intellectual Property
All content on the Nature Guardians platform, including but not limited to text, images, videos, graphics, and educational materials, is the property of Australian Geographic Holdings Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to access and use the content solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes within your classroom. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content without written permission
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the content
- Use content for commercial purposes
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Upload or transmit harmful content, including viruses or malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Collect personal information about other users
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
While we strive to ensure educational content is accurate and up-to-date, we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for particular educational outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Australian Geographic Holdings Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed AUD $100.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
